Send me a message

.

Who has ever done this

When you’ve met a girl

Maybe out in a night club

In another world

.
A little dance on the dance floor

A little flirt here and there

A little touch of hands together

A little kiss if you dare

.
You are happy now

You give your number

You go to leave

Now it’s time to wonder

.
Text her once

Text her twice

Text her thrice

With bad luck you dice

.
Next day comes,

And you wait……..

And you wait……..

And she never calls

.
Welcome to my world

Rhyming poetry to change your day

New work

You’ll always have the status quo

Why do we always have to change?

Are we so imperfect we can’t refrain?

Driving our partners wild with every breath

Knowing it grates them is half the test

Never to decide if we stay or leave

All the shitty baggage we have to upheave

To start once again from nothing at all

As if in a video game looking at four walls

Driving a car thinking about a way out

Never to do it, just to cry and shout

You’ll always be a coward not to leave or jump

Backing away from a fight you always were the chump

Don’t worry, you’ll always have the status quo

Until one day you grow the balls get up and go

Killed by a kamikaze

I didn’t see you coming

Waiting for me, pondering

I am just minding my own business

Before you meet me with your viciousness

I’m thinking of my partner, wife or child

Not knowing what will happen, all the while

Of what you have in store for me

Screams I hear, people flee

Crashing vehicle, carnage ensues

Killing machine, whomever you choose

And then the moment arrives

You are there with a knife

What are you going to do with that knife

Oh the pain I feel, oh my life

I fall to the floor, a crimson mess

Crying in pain, calling with distress

Blood filling my mouth, feeling weak

Crawling along the ground, cannot speak

My final moments, thinking of my life

Killed by a kamikaze, with a knife.

I’m liberated

I’m liberated so I say what I want to say

I’m liberated so I help a homeless person today

I’m liberated to donate to a good cause

I’m liberated to not judge other people’s flaws

I’m liberated to eat what I want

I’m liberated to burp when I want

I’m liberated to dance in the street

I’m liberated even if I’ve got two left feet

I’m liberated to listen to abba like my mum

I’m liberated because I sing along

I’m liberated to call my mother up

I’m liberated to show her my love

I’m liberated to be selfish for once

I’m liberated to stop putting on a front

Rejection will not beat me!

Apply apply apply

Feels like I’m gonna die

It’s get me so very down

Every time It makes me frown

It’s over fifty applies now

One interview, negative, how?

I’m an immigrant, discriminated

I feel worthless, emasculated

Stuck in the same job, 6 years

Hier archie bringing me to tears

I’m qualified in the uk

It’s worthless here, just ok

Every email, NO, even one letter too

It all bemused me, rejection spews!

I just need one, I tell myself

I’ll even work for less, don’t care for wealth

I want my weekends, that’s all I need

Because my job refuses it, I have to pleed

They won’t give it to me, they do as they please

They want me to suffer, even if I have to bleed

I’ll do what ever I can, what ever it takes

To look after my family what ever my fate

Karma

.

I believe in karma coming round

And when it hits you are downed

A bad boy when I was young

Getting in trouble, thinking it was fun

Adult, car broken into, radio nicked

Maybe I deserved it for being a twit

I always like thinking positive

Dont like people being negative

Do someone a good deed

That’s all you really need

I believe in karma and have always found

What goes around comes around

Job rejection

.

You’re not good enough, there is always better

Speak two languages, qualified, whatever

Mouth off at them, why am I not in ?

There’s lots of good applicants within

Three months of applying, three months of this

Rejection constant, the agencies are taking the piss

I won’t be beat, even though it’s getting me down

Ok maybe for the moment it’s making me frown

Just wondering how long it’s gonna be

Applying for jobs to get one acception to be free!

Je suis égoïste

This grumpy prick

This selfish dick

Argumentative guy

Cannot lie

Argues again

Time well spent

Is this the end

Going round the bend

What’s wrong with you?

This Shit you spew

Can’t button your mouth?

Stupid lout

All for you

Always true

Point of view

Will never do

My ex the ice queen

My ex, I called her the ice queen

My name for her because she was mean

She wasn’t always like that to start

But that girl tore my heart apart

A year and a half I wasted with her

We argued once and she cowered

She did not want me to have a life

To her this just seemed right

She split up with me Christmas eve

I couldn’t accept it I was so peeved

I took it hard, I left that day

On the train on a new way

I couldn’t stand it, the rejection killed

That queen smothered me and broke my will

I tried getting back on with things

So I took on what life would bring

One day I saw her, I saw her again

That girl knew just how to get in my brain

We studied in London we waited for a train

How she was so smug it drove me insane

She talked about her boyfriend running her a bath

Oh that smug bitch, how could she laugh

I’m over her now, but it took a long while

That ice queen bite was viscous, even vile

Suicidal swill

Drained, tired, had enough

This funny thing called love

Misunderstood words, different views

Body sick gonna spew

Recuperate energy, charge up

Batteries empty, never last

Easy way out, selfish way

Tablets cupboard, cowards play

Cocktail vodka mixed with pills

Do the trick, suicidal swill
