Saving the snake in the flames

A man saw a snake

Surrounded by flames

He tried to help it

Bitten and in pain

.

The man dropped the snake

Back into the fire

He looked around him

His courage to be admired

.

He found a metal bar

The snake wrapped around

He placed the bar down

Carefully to the ground

.

A passer by saw his act

Questioning why he helped

“The snake’s instinct is to bite”

“But I just had to help”

.

Sidney the snake

.

Have you seen Sidney the snake?

Sidney the snake

Sidney the snake

Have you seen Sidney the snake?

He is over there

.

Rattling his tail back and fourth

Back and fourth

Back and fourth

Rattling his tail back and fourth

Making a merry tune

.

Oh won’t you come and dance with me?

Dance with me

Dance with me

Oh won’t you come and dance with me?

We will have such fun

.

Will you dance with Sidney the snake?

Sidney the snake

Sidney the snake

Will you dance with Sidney the snake?

You will have such fun
