How I’ve needed you
Needing to feel your warmth
All the way through
This day I will basque
Until you are too much
When that moment comes
I know I’ve had enough
Out will come the parasol
To continue enjoying your glare
Impossible to look at you
Let alone stare
Until you decide to set
To lower in an orange glow
To light up the dusk sky

Would I be respected

To have the courage
To be honest for once
If not to the other person
To myself, the important one
Thoughts run through our head
Free as the wind
Doubts and regrets
Weeping in
Not knowing ever
Which way to turn
Only from our mistakes
Do we really learn

Do you care? About anything, about me?
What have I got to do to make you love me again?
Is is fun for you, this bitterness, this pain?
Have I got to yell, to cry, to exclaim?
WHY DON’T YOU LOVE ME?
I welp at your feet, helpless, pity need
Fogiveness, anger, jealously, torment
RAGE, UNCONTROLLABLE RAGE
WHY I ASK TO YOU, WHY?
Should I question your blank stare?
Or should I question the reflection in the mirror?

I wish to feel emotion and not be deprived
Love is so beautiful, so hard to have lost
Losing someone dear that will never be forgot
Mourning for, what seems to be forever
Darkened paths, never seeming to get better
That darkness will part and the sun will shine
That aching feeling, will gradually heal with time
The crying too, but what a release
Letting go and finding some peace

A boy once wondered if he ever had a chance
A beautiful popular girl with a caring glance
He wrote on a piece of paper his thoughts so true
He doubted how to give it to her, what should he do
She had never really spoke to him, not once in class
She was about to leave, he would have to act fast
He grabbed his bag to leave, as she walked through the door
Scuttling through after her, knocking her to the floor
Apologising clumsily for his involuntary act
Slipping her the paper into her sack
She ran to catch her bus, scared to be late
Just getting there in time, is this to be fate
He would have to wait and get through the weekend
Thinking about this girl, maybe a girlfriend
The days passed by agonisingly slow
Sunday night now, just one sleep to go
He arrived at class, not knowing what to expect
Would it be good news or would it be reject
She came into class smiling in her stride
He was beside himself, starting to subside
She sat down behind him, books on the table
Starting her day off as if it was a fable
The next time you want to talk to me, don’t knock me over
Try asking me out instead you great big cassanova
Its exhilarating view
The crashing waves
That deep sea blue
How the clouds touch
As far as I can see
The water sways
Almost hopefully
When I take in the air
I never want to leave
May it last forever
