This girl can read you like a book

She casts her hook into your mouth

Hypnotized you can only fall south

This goddess’s song sucks you in

Begging for her as you see her grin

One taste of her lips is all you need

A normal man you suffer from greed

You will protect her, with your life

If she was harmed, you would be rife

Rage would overcome, you could kill

You’d do what it takes, enjoy the thrill

Worship her, your mistress, her glory

Fight you alpha, it’s your territory

All this, just because of one kiss

Without her, you would fall to the abyss

Is it skin deep?

When we look in

Ignore the sin

Is a perfect smile

All the while

Masking something

Hidden within

Why do we care?

To make it clear

That a beauty dear

Brings us to tears

Perfect skin, eyes hair

Posing with just a glare

But she has such flair

With no underwear

Slim is attractive?

We have the right to live?

Why judge?

We should all be loved?

Be bold and brave

Misbehave

Flaunt it all

Ignore them all

In my head

It is like a whisper

To my ears like silk

Whispering your wants

I think about you

But my heart does want

Your amazing lips

Enticing me in

Sing to me

my temptress

Pull me within

Kiss me,

Let’s embrace

Undress each other’s sin

Fulfil our needs

Caress each other’s skin

Gazing at the stars lighting up the sky

Pondering the distance between us

Seeming endlessness, moments lost

Silence painful and yet painless

Reminiscent of your voice

Your words caress my thoughts

Echoing with your twang

Our happiness trumped the world

An unbreakable bond

Shattered into a million pieces

Impossible to reassemble

Hands out stretching

Our reach unforgiving

Clasping at nothingness

You float away into eternity

My heart expired with yours

Memories dwindling but remain

Knowing that we’ll reunite

I’ll stare until I slumber

And dream of you by my side

I fancy her

Impossible to talk

Every time she passes me

I just walk

She has amazing eyes

Small but so beautiful

I will write a poem

That’s what I’ll do

I write what my heart wants

Have someone give it to her

Everyone laughs at me

I’ve caused quite a stir

I’m so embarrassed

What have I done

My life is a million times worse

Hell has begun

.
The laughs, the sniggers

Everyone laughs

Oh I hate them

They’ll feel my wrath

It was really tough

I’ve learnt from my mistake

I put my words on paper

Put my love on a plate

I never spoke to this girl

Never once in my life

My failed love story

Now I take it in my stride

I see you there in the street

I can’t take my eyes off of you, just a peep

It’s pouring with rain five pm

You shake your umbrella again and again

You don’t see me, I’m invisible

Unnamed and in your eyes feeble

How do I get you to notice me?

Could our paths cross? Is it to be?

You light up a cigarette take down a breath

On your telephone, what you gonna do next?

You look at me, just a glance

I’m staring at you in a trance

A smile crosses your face is it for me?

I think yes, maybe it could be

I wave my hand just to say hi

You wave your hand too, It’s a lie

I decide to move to approach you

My feet don’t move stuck like glue

This guy pushes past me, knocks me down

I start to pick myself up, I turn around

She’s hugging him, that pushy guy

Just my luck, she’s not for me. Why!

She don’t want me

Scruffy old me

I’m too skinny, no muscles

I watch as she flees

.

That other guy, he’s fitter

Look at his body, looks

I’m always reading comics

Or my head’s in a book

.

Not interesting, not at all

Like watching pain dry

Just plain old boring

I’m not gonna live a lie

.

She doesn’t notice my hair

My clothes as I try to impress

It seems just like

I’m trying to pass her test

.

I’m sure we like all the same things

Many common interests

If she could only know me

She wouldn’t care about the rest

.

Swallow my overwhelming fear

I’m approaching her, try to talk

I freeze solid in front of her

She smiles, my heart starts to stir

.

I’m not good enough

I’m ugly

Bit of rough

Why would he be interested?

I’m not pretty

I’m jealous

Lots of insecurities

He won’t even notice me

I don’t even exist

His lips are perfect

Just one kiss

He’s ignoring me

No matter how much I try

Do I not exist?

He’s making me cry

.

Am I not even your type?

Not pretty enough for you

Can’t you see my efforts

Invisible shining through

.

Notice me, speak to me please

He’s approaching, what do I do now?

He’s going to say something

I can’t move, have to talk, how?
