We don’t like to talk about it

The time we spend

Wasting our day

Going round the bend

.

Simple as can be

Wanting just one thing

Never suceeding

Happiness it brings

.

Hours spent

Time ticks by

Through the day

Oh how it flies

.

Just wasted

Pointless really

And for what

Just, well, silly

.

Most of us do it

We don’t even know

We are our own worst enemy

So the story goes

.

When we could be doing

Something else

Instead of maybe damaging

Our mental health

.

Think of your loved ones

Time lost with them

All addictions

Can be beaten, my friend.

Just let go

Relax, unwind

Breathe….

Take your time

Inhale

Just divine

Release your senses

All the bad

Forget everything

You never had

Float on your respiration

Take your self away

Let it overcome you

The takers

The winners

The fakers

Do you feel better

Giving what you do

Just like robin hood

Taking, so true

Giving to charity

Great thing, why not

All is needed

They need a lot

Maybe you feel better

For giving away some wealth

Maybe you’re a good person

And you have your health

Charity starts at home

Look after your own

Your poor workers

Tents for homes

I wanted to be away

Not just a day dream

Not just this day

Oh how the beauty

Made me weep

Every soft caress

Every nook and creek

I just want to be there

No more problems, never again

Life devouring itself

Solitude my friend

Take me away

Make me disappear

To be a cloud

You can’t see him

But you know

He’s there

You should be scared

But you want to give

Your purity

To him

You don’t know when

Nor how it will begin

You just want to

Be loved

All of a sudden

Your one desire pounces

His true thirst

Beauty is not about how pretty you are

It is about your heart and soul and who you are

Helping others and being selfless through the day

Picking up litter and caring for others, that’s the way

Concern, kind words, giving your time

These are the people that are really fine

My respect goes out to each and every one of you

You are all amazing, keep doing what it is that you do
