It is coming you know for all of us
No one cares or gives a fuss
It’s just a cold a little bug
You’re invincible, dont give a fluff
People are dying all around the world
People are coughing, germs swirl
It started with one, one patient x
Where are we now? it’s complex
You may lose someone, someone you hold dear
Maybe that will make things a little more clear
Health workers are dying trying to save
Governments are struggling, just to stave
One thing we are asked by all of them
Stay indoors, be responsible my friend
Social distancing, one metre between us
Is it that difficult? really so rough?
This is just the start it’s going to be hard
Support the others, stay on the path
We will beat this, together as one
This is real, it is not just for fun

I have never felt so alone
When surrounded by many
I have never felt so imprisoned
Even though I am free to go
I have never felt so hopeless
Even when I can choose
I have never felt so lost
Even though I know the way
.
My tears I cannot cry
My thoughts I cannot lie
My angst I cannot suppress
Even though I try
.
Trapped doing the same each day
The same old daily grind
Gaping hole inside of me
The bottom you won’t find.

I have never felt like escaping
As much as I do now
To end it all as a coward
The only way I know how
Henriette the horse
Henriette the horse
Likes to run all day
With such strong legs
She gallops away
When she stops her run
She wants to have some fun
To the fun park she goes
Her eyes begin to glow
As she gets ready to jump
Sure she will make a thump
As she leaps into the air
And shakes about her hair
She lands in the pool
As the balls scatter all
She laughs out loud
Ever ever so proud

Colin the crocodile
Look at that lovely smile
Swimming in your muddy swamp
Looking for something to chomp
With your tough prickly skin
And that little mischievous grin
Ooohhh have you found something
He so likes when he wins
There is one thing this croc would like
Is to leave the swamp and take his bike
For a charming ride watching the trees
Legs in the air shouting WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Leo the lion
.
Leo the lion is so very strong
Likes to lift trees all day long
Up above his head, up in the sky
He lifts with one paw, we do not know why
.
When he’s relaxing, he looks at his teeth
So beautiful and white, always so clean
He uses a brush to clean them so well
If he did not, I’m sure they would smell
.
Let’s have a roar to wake us all up
Ggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrhhhhh is that enough?
