A little flirt here and there

You are happy now

You go to leave

Text her once
Text her twice
Text her thrice
With bad luck you dice

Next day comes,

And she never calls

That’s a sad poem, Phil. Perhaps, this was a previous experience and maybe a fictional piece, but I could identify with it, albeit slightly differently. It’s a good piece.
