Are you feeling down, world against you?
Pickled in turmoil in boggy stew
Life throws us curved balls, cogs in wheels
Hide if you will or dare to dig in your heels
What doesn’t kill you can only make you stronger
Use your mind, be creative, think a little bit longer
I may not be the best, you may be better than me
Hey hum, that’s life, you’re free to be free
Stuck in your job, no way to get out
Yes you can, they can do without
I am just a human in this immense universe
If you don’t fulfil your potential it’s even worse
You are great, you can lead
Others will listen and take heed
Change the world in a day may not be possible
But with positive thinking you are free and able
.

I love being inperfect
In every way I can
Tell the world to stuff it
Don’t even have a plan

Why should I be perfect?
Or even bloody care
I’ll do what I bloody like
You can even stare!

I want to fit in

I want to fit in but I am different from the rest
I want to be bigger but cannot help myself
I want to be beautiful but uglyness shines its evil light
I want to eat but just a little is too much
I want to be normal but I cannot help myself
I want to stop being sick but I can’t stop myself
How could anyone ever love my body when I can’t even love myself?
To look upon the mirror is to cry a river of tears at the person staring back
How can you understand when I am perplexed and confused?
How can you judge when I have been beat and abused?
I am tired from it all, I just want to be alone
The only person I trust is the person I hate

Headache

This headache is killing me
It’s hurting to try to see
Suffering seems to be my game
As I cower at the table with pain
Throbbing hard like a drum
Hurting lots, not much fun
As I crawl off to go to bed
Try to escape from my head
Take my meds, little pills
Swig some water, little swill
Under the covers in the dark
Dog outside, hear him bark
I cover my head I want to die
Waiting for this headache to go by

Never have I been so insulted by you
I prepared a meal which was beautiful
You were sat to receive my dish
You decided to take the piss
3 hours I slaved for that food
Your comments oh so lewd
What was it that you didn’t like?
Why did you have to snipe?
Well do you know what you can do?
Next time make your own food
Just one last thing do finish off
Splat, enjoy your food, I’m off!

The peace of the park

Oh I love the peace when we come to the park
I can hear the birds sing and lark
Watching the joggers as they pass on by
Reflecting on life, not asking why
I love the sun as it warms me up
Not too hot, its just enough
As I watch the water rippling in the sun
Kids feeding ducks, having fun
I stop to breathe and forget it all
Before I leave heaven and I fall
