Christmas madness in the shops
They’re all crazy, the whole lot
Where did they come from? All of them
I can’t get over it, it started when?
Get out of the way, move your ass
Bemused by this madness, lost any class
Everyone is stressed, in such a rush
It’s only Christmas, why so much fuss
Traffic on the road, people so mad
Impatient, all of them, reacting bad
Festive holidays are here for a while
People are amusingly forcing a smile
Until that final day it will all calm down
And hopefully there will be smiles all around

Pathetic excuse for a father
Pathetic excuse for a lover
Temper frayed from sleepless nights
Rage envelops with a fright
Snaps in a moment, fist through the door
Argument ensues, emotion so raw
Go on hit me, I deserve it, sorry excuse
Losing it like that, what a recluse
My boy there innocent, said nothing wrong
Aggressive dad, what are you doing, it’s wrong
Take him back to his mums, he falls asleep
I am so sorry, so pathetic, I start to weep
A six year’s olds comments, cuts like a knife
It’s shocking how they look at life
I drive off to work, one thing on my mind
End it, now, escape from this bind
Crash the car, crash it good
Wreck myself break it, if only I could
Selfish of me, to walk out on my family
My kids, my girlfriend what life to be
In the biggest mess I ever could be
I’m certainly the lowest ever I’ve been
Christmas makes you feel really down
Certainly this evening I did nothing but frown
I’ve calmed down now from a suicidal rage
All this because of a depressed snap rampage

My girlfriend is the most generous person I know
She’d give away her arms if she didn’t need them
In a way I look up to her for how she is with others
And even sometimes it’s crazy how she drives me round the bend

A women in the street
Sat there, bashed her knee
She checks how she is
And gives directions for the pharmacy

A homeless man in London
December was very cold
She gives him a voucher for a hot drink
He was not very old.

A guy in the street, dog and cardboard
Asking for a nice smile or a fag
She talked to him, her kindness true
Gave him a ciggie that he could take a drag
.
She is often selfless
Gives all she can
My thoughtful girlfriend
Never goes with the plan
.
A new day to do a good deed
I would never change her
Not for the world
Cause she’s the best, a little pearl

Hypnotized by our phones
Look around you, at others

Transfixed, silence

Stuttering heartbeat
Repeating mess
All the less
Undefined
Passionately blind
Egoist
Seeking bliss
Looking forever
Trying to be clever
Raising hell
Alarm bells
Impossible challenge

Thrive to be

Life to short
Cannot abort
Cowards way out
I scream and shout
Toujour defiant

Ask my friend
We do not bend

Tomorrow is too late

I love being positive, it’s certainly not easy, but if I can make one person feel positive it will make me happy. I’ve had a really crappy long month, (we’re 20 days through) if your feeling down look at 1 positive point in your life and write me a comment noting it, bless yourself with that! And build from there, write a poem screaming out, there are many things in life that get us down if we let them, but there are many people worse off then me so I am the lucky one.
