New work

Fuck the haters

Fuck the haters

You toxic waste of space

Why the hell are you here?

In my sacred place

.

Did you need to comment

To say I needed help

Are you really concerned?

For my mental health

.

If you got nothing nice to say

Don’t say anything at all

Stop getting your jolly

At making me feel small

.

No one needs your opinion

If you’re using a knife

Your words cut deeply

You could even take a life

.

I hope you realise

The hurt that you caused

When you took your two minutes

And shit on my wall

.

Probably not

You pathetic piece of shit

Stop bullying people

And button your lip

.

      1. Oh geez. Like you said, if you canโ€™t say something nice, or at least helpful, then donโ€™t say anything! Not-so-common sense. Or like I say: treat other people how you want to be treated. Itโ€™s not that hard ๐Ÿ™„

  1. I think he should learn to spell before posting the sad little man. Funny enough I had a similar type of message left on one of my pages recently & I decided to compose a few lines in response as well…….I haven’t posted to WordPress yet but it’s coming……..Love the Poem by the way & yep fuck the haters !

    1. I thought the same thing. It is really quite motivating responding to someone who is no better than a bully. Do it. You’ll feel better. It writes itself too. Good to release the emotions. Thanks for the comment. Have a great day.

      1. Hi Phil! We all have the flue. ๐Ÿค’๐Ÿคง Besides that, everything is fine. I used to write on a weekly basis for a Portuguese newspaper. At the beginning, the haters devasted me. After a while, I realised that these people are miserable. When you are happy you don’t need to smash the others.

      2. Ah the flu sucks, I had it 3 weeks ago and ill again now. When we can arrive above them they can not knock us down. They don’t deserve the satisfaction. I just hope that they are miserable and that they feel the same pain that they inflict. Glad to hear otherwise that you are ok.

  2. I hear you, Phil. You are understandably hurt and angry. Was this ‘Richard’ guy in the review commenting on one of your books as it says ‘price of admission’, making me wonder if it was a poetry reading? Either way, there is no excuse for being rude. I think if you haven’t got anything nice to say, then don’t say anything at all. Did you notice that this ‘big’ guy can’t even spell the word ‘definitely’? He’s not so clever, after all. Try to ignore people like that if you can. I think your poetry is excellent and always look forward to reading it. Keep your head up high, Phil. X

    1. Hi Ellie, yes it is a review on my book rhyming poetry to change your day, I imagine that he bought it and was upset and left a review, the 1 star doesn’t bother me. “The author needs help” really hurt me, I tried getting the review pulled but Amazon have done nothing, just one of those things. He is a very negative person and I think he enjoys having justification. Just there is no need to be hurtful. I wish he would of thought about his words beforehand, some people it could push them to suicide if susceptible enough. He makes me so angry. Raaaaaaa. Anyways, thanks for commenting and supporting. It is people like you that help me through the day with a smile.

      1. Hi Phil. I can see how upsetting this unkind person’s words were to you. I would have felt the same in your shoes. Some people get a kick out of saying unpleasant and hurtful things to others. You were justifiably unhappy about this weak person with his attitude. I may have said this before, but I believe if you can’t say anything nice, then don’t say anything at all. This person could learn from that popular phrase. I’m here if you need to let off steam, always. I’m glad I was able to give you a smile. Take care of yourself.
