I’ve been waiting so patiently

Days

Weeks

Months

Through the cold

Through the rain

The rain always makes me sad

But it’s not so bad

Just not so good

Hoping

To one day glimpse upon you

Your beauty

I can feel the anticipation

It’s been warmer

This is my favourite time

Feeling the sun

I can see you

The first bud

Not long now

Willing

Wanting

Until finally

I see you

You were worth waiting for
