Isn’t it funny
How we watch over
Our sweet little ones
To be sure they are ok
Wrapped around their fingers
We’d do anything
As they suffer
We can only wait
And watch
When there are spiders
And flies
Keeping them from sleep
We are there
Is it because they need us
Or we need to be needed
