It’s so hard
Weighing me down
My morale is
Making me drown
No matter what
I try to do
It suffocates me
Like super glue
Down my throat
Clogging my nose
No way to stop it
That’s how it goes

I’ve always struggled converting my poems to lyrics. You have any tips?

Lyrics as in song writing? I have always wondered but never tried. I would start looking at a few of your favourite songs and studying their lyrics. See what they do and try mimicking it. Your poem is a poem, you want to write a song. Close your eyes and take your time. Have fun
